Vision Solutions develops software designed to protect data and minimize downtime in the data center. It strives to provide zero-downtime migration, high-availability, disaster recovery and data sharing across multiple systems. And do it on any storage platform and in any physical, virtual or cloud-based environment. The company has three product lines: Double-Take, MIMIX and iTERRA.
The software does not only work with disaster recovery, but Vision products are also used to migrate data between servers while minimizing downtime to literally minutes. Migration is one of the largest areas of growth for Vision. Cloud data recovery is also becoming a big part of Vision’s mission. Arnold says one of the exciting parts of Vision’s future is to be able to adapt to the changing nature of enterprise data storage.
Arnold authored or co-authored five books on technology and business. They have a worldwide following. He has also written articles for some of the industry’s leading publications and his work has been presented to a U.S. Senate subcommittee and the State of California.
