SlideShare: Enterprise Cloud Migration – 4 Problems to Solve

The biggest challenge any enterprise has to get over when migrating workloads to the cloud is SCALE! Large organizations have massive amounts of data; thousands of virtual machines and hundreds of terabytes of data. With this level of scale, migration to the cloud is much more than just copying data from a source site to a destination cloud.

There are four challenges to be considered while performing large scale migrations that enterprises need to overcome to establish a truly viable cloud strategy.

In this on demand webinar join Storage Switzerland and Sureline Systems as we discuss how to overcome:

  1. The Data vs. Bandwidth Problem – high-speed network bandwidth is not enough
  2. The Manual Migration of Hundreds of Workloads – automation is imperative
  3. The “Start-All-Over” Problem – due to unreliable network connectivity
  4. Keeping Sites In-Sync – intelligent utilization of limited bandwidth

Register for our on demand webinar and receive an exclusive copy of Storage Switzerland’s latest white paper “Enterprise to Cloud – An At Scale Migration Strategy”.

  2. Dennis says:

Moving data can be the biggest headache for large companies. I spent plenty of time prepping myself, doing plenty of research, before I shifted my company’s data from one server to another, keeping it as safe as possible. I always make sure I have proper firewall management while moving and securing data, because losing data is devastating, but having it stolen can destroy a company for good. I’m looking forward to tuning into the Webinar, to see what steps I may have looked over in the past!
